Each year, Kramden receives thousands of donated computers. The majority of these computers are refurbished by our volunteers and awarded to deserving students in grades 3-12 across North Carolina (3,500 last year alone). In order to defray the costs of refurbishing these award machines, we sell a small amount of higher-end computers to the general public. All proceeds from these surplus computer sales goes back to funding Kramden’s core mission.
