House Bill 697 was introduced this week. The bill would enable nonprofit computer refurbishers to obtain computers from the State Surplus Property Agency and UNC for distribution to students or low-income families.
Thank you, Rep. Horn, Saine, and Elmore for sponsoring!

Our tech college has tons of them. Great idea.

I have worked at this place building pc's and tearing them down they will help anyone that has a school age child and has no means of getting a computer,,They build all with new software and drives..No junk here

This would be so welcome partnership in the community and surrounding area

great use of an overlooked resource. Good work!
