Internet access is a crucial part of modern life. Kramden can help you find affordable Internet service.

Find an Internet Provider

Need an Internet provider? Find participating Internet providers in your area.

Once you know which provider(s) serve your address, compare plans to find one that meets your budget. Be sure to ask about special plans for lower-income households, such as Spectrum's Internet Assist plan.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Ends in April

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is ending. No new enrollments are being accepted. If you're enrolled, April 2024 is the last month you will receive the full benefit amount. In May your discount will end and you will be charged a higher amount for your internet service. Kramden continues to work with households who need assistance finding a low-cost internet plan.

ACP wind-down assistance

The FCC has a Fact Sheet about the end of the ACP here.

If you have questions about the end of the ACP program or need help finding affordable Internet service, contact Lacey Dickerson, Kramden’s ACP Outreach Coordinator, at (919)-293-1133 x1018.

Contact your provider

If you currently receive the ACP benefit, it is important that you call your internet company as soon as possible to learn how this change will affect your internet bill. Here are three questions you can ask:

  1. How will the end of ACP change my bill or service plan?
  2. Are there any plans that cost less than my non-discounted current plan? Some low-price plans might have slower speeds but still give you what you need.
  3. Are any special low-cost plans available for those who participated in ACP? For instance, Spectrum customers can ask about their Internet Assist plan.
