Kramden Institute welcomes select volunteers needing to complete court-related community service. Community service hours for any court-related requirement includes, but is not limited to, any lawyer-recommended service, court-appointed service as well as individuals needing to complete hours for a pending charge. If you are unsure whether you fall into these categories, please contact the Director of Events at:cdelmariani@kramden.org
Please note that Kramden only accepts certain types of non-violent offenders:
- Traffic violations
- Driving while impaired (alcohol only)
- Non-violent misdemeanors except larceny and vandalism
All approved mandatory community service volunteers choosing to complete their hours at Kramden must meet with the Director of Events before any community service hours can be fulfilled. The Director of Events will review Kramden’s current volunteer needs, schedule and code of conduct. Volunteers must bring all necessary court documentation concerning your community service assignment. Additionally, all volunteers must first complete the New Volunteer Information Form and any volunteer under the age of 18 must return this form with a signed parental release before any volunteer hours are completed.
If your volunteer documentation must be notarized, Kramden will collect a $15 administrative fee.
