To date, Kramden Institute has served students in 52 North Carolina counties.  Kramden relies on Principals, Teachers, Guidance Counselors and school Social Workers to identify and nominate students in need.  Once we qualify the student, they will become a Kramden Scholar, receive a computer of their own and ongoing technical support from the Kramden team.

Please help us to empower the students in your school by spreading the word about Kramden.  Through ongoing communication, we can help meet the needs of the students in your school year after year.

Typically, we ask schools to identify the students who work hard and are in need, and the students' families are contacted by the school.  If you are a school representative and you would like to nominate a student or students to receive a Kramden computer please download Kramden Institute's Student Nomination Form or email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. We have donated to school groups and individual students on a special basis, such as autistic children, ESL classes, Katrina victims, and to populate a PC lab at an elementary school in Granville County.  We have also provided PCs to students who did not have their own computers from the Governor Morehead School for the Blind and also the NC School of Science and Math.
