Mark Dibner is serving as Kramden's Acting Executive Director during the period of fundraising for growth. Mark, and his son Ned, founded Kramden Institute in 2003 and he has led the Institute through most of its history and serves as its Board Chairman. Carrie Clark is Kramden's Director of Operations. She works closely with the Executive Director, volunteer and paid managers and Kramden partners to organize, implement and manage Kramden Institute's day-to-day operations. Carrie is a graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, NC and has worked with a few well known organizations including the American Red Cross, United Way and Goodwill Industries. Cari DelMariani is Kramden's Director of Events. Cari is charged with overseeing Kramden's events, volunteers and Scholar Program. Kramden welcomed Cari to the Management Team in February 2010. Following her undergraduate studies at Grand Valley State University Cari served two years as an AmeriCorps member in the communities of Elkhart Indiana and Grand Rapids Michigan. Cari continued her education at Grand Valley State University receiving her Master of Education in 2009. Jackie Morris is Kramden's part-time Grant Writer. She identifies, researches and writes grants for Kramden on a weekly basis. Jackie graduated from California State Univ. Fullerton with a BA in Finance. She earned an MS from California State Univ. Los Angeles in Psychology. Jackie’s background includes working for non-profits in clinical and program management roles. Alice Martinson is Kramden's Volunteer Director of Partnerships and works with Kramden Institute to create partnerships with companies, foundations, schools and other institutions. She is an experienced partner manager, project leader and organizational strategist. Alice earned her BA degree from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. Dave Moore is Kramden's Volunteer Director of Development, A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Dave moved to Cary in 2007 to be near children and grandchildren and looks forward to being an active part of the North Carolina community. He works on B2B business development with Academic Benchmarks, a K12 educational technology company. He has had a long management career in U.S. and international business, most recently in U.S. ed tech, online learning, and financial services sectors. Earlier he held international Managing Director positions in Europe and Africa with Informix and Foremost-McKesson, Inc.
His non-profit experience includes being a long-time Board member of Compumentor (compumentor.org), a successful technology support organization based in San Francisco, CA, and Shelter Network (shelternetwork.org), which operates 5 homeless shelters in San Mateo, CA. He has also worked on non-profit consulting projects for the Stanford Business School Alumni Consulting Team program. He volunteered for the Technical Management Team of Kramden in September and looks forward to helping ensure the longterm growth of the organization. He is a graduate of Harvard College (BA), Stanford School of Business (MBA) and U.C. Berkeley (MS). His wife Luzmila is a native of Chile, so he is bilingual in English and Spanish - by necessity! Beth Davis is Kramden's Volunteer Director of Public Relations. Beth writes all of Kramden's press releases and works to ensure there is media coverage of every Kramden event. She is currently working as Management Supervisor at MicroMass Communications. Beth holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from Kaplan University. Jim Whitten is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. He has been a longtime, loyal Kramden volunteer. Recently Jim took on an additional leadership role within Kramden's newest program, Laptop Univerisity where he provides essential technical oversight and guidance. Jim has worked as a Product Manager for Cisco Systems for the last 8 years and has spent 34 years in the Data Communications and IP Networking industries specializing in Network Management Systems. Jason Ricker is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. He was born and raised in Charleston, SC. Jason works at Avery Engineering as an IT Support Specialist, and began volunteering with Kramden 6 months ago after reading an inspiring article about KI in the Herald Sun. He holds a BS in Computer Science from College of Charleston, is an avid outdoorsman, a UNC Tarheels fan, and loves spending time with his dog "Lemur." Don Ward is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. Don has been an enthusiastic volunteer with Kramden since June 2008. He is a graduate in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech (B.E.E.) and Stanford (M.S.E.E., Ph.D.). Don spent 25 years in Silicon Valley doing scientific programming and has been working on computers since 1970. He enjoys his time at Kramden because it gives him a chance to learn more about computers and to put his skills to good use. In his spare time, Don has fun messing with shortwave radios, and repairing old tube-type radios. He and his wife are bridge players and love spending time doing genealogical research. Blake Prenatt is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. Blake has been volunteering with Kramden since 2007 and was a catalyst for the Kramden website redesign. He graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Information Systems, and is currently a Software Developer at Contactology. David Barclay is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. He is originally from South Florida and has been in the Triangle area since July 2007. David works as a Senior Technical Support Engineer for a software company and has been working with computers since the 1980’s. He began volunteering with Kramden in April of 2008 as a way to share his skills and meet interesting people. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking and fly fishing. Don Rowe is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. Originally from New York City, he earned his Bachelors at City University of New York then lived in Connecticut for 30 years before moving to the Triangle area in August 2006. Over his extensive IT career, he has served as a consultant in a variety roles (Project Mgr, Business/Quality Assurance Analyst, Trainer, Systems Administrator) for Insuran ce, Banking, AgriScience, Education, and Non Profits organizations. He began volunteering with Kramden in January of 2009 as a way to give back to the community. “As a parent and IT professional, I recognize the need for the whole system (K-12) to integrate technology into the learning process, so children will be able to compete on a level playing field.” His involvement has expanded to mentoring new volunteers and assisting Kramden with process improvements. Morris Daniels is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. Morris is originally from Virginia and went to Virginia Commonwealth University, majoring in Information Systems. He has been doing software development for over 35 years on mainframes and UNIX servers and still enjoys it. Currently, Morris works as a Database Administrator and Software Developer for Lenovo. He has lived in Raleigh for over 10 years, and lived in Orlando, FL for 19 years prior. Morris believes in the Kramden philosophy of recycling used computers and helping to ensure that those less-advantaged are not left behind in the changes in technology. Sam Kim is a volunteer member of Kramden's Technology Team. Originally from Southern California, Sam brings 20 years of business development and project management experiences to Kramden. Sam consults for the pharmaceutical industry with special emphasis on ophthalmology and phase 3 Asian trials. While Sam understands biotechnology and clinical pharmacology, he is an IT guy at heart. He loves to tinker with gadgets, especially laptops. He is also an avid reader and is very proud of the fact that he actually read James Joyce's Ulysses.
